Real Estate Conference 2018

On Wednesday the 12th of April 2018, Banque BEMO held a conference on “The Lebanese Real Estate Market: An Unparalleled Paradox” to private and corporate clients at the Four Seasons Hotel, followed by a lunch.

 Dr. Riad Obegi – Chairman of the Board, introduced the presentation by talking about the importance of the Real Estate market. “Real Estate is important in any economy as it represents most of the economy’s wealth”. He carried on by emphasizing on  the Lebanese Real Estate being a bridge between Lebanese nationals living in Lebanon and those living abroad. Finally, Dr. Obegi concluded by stating that the Bank instituted a crucial and innovative new department the “Real Estate Advisory”.

 Mr. Riad Arslan – Senior Advisor Real Estate, has presented the real estate outlook for 2018, covering all topics related to the market including important events, data, the fiscal policy as well as the housing policy. The conference aimed at highlighting the academic aspect of real estate investment while proposing scientific potential solutions.
