Draw ceremony - “Back to our Cedar Roots” third edition

Banque BEMO hosted the draw ceremony of the third edition of the initiative “Back to our Cedar Roots” on the Independence Day, at Beit Kanz.

100 newly planted Cedar trees were allocated in a draw to 100 persons among the enlisted candidates, in the presence of her excellency the ambassador of Argentina, journalists, NGOs, editors, winners of previous editions and senior executives.

This initiative aims at casting the attention on the unfairness suffered by Lebanese women who are unable to pass their Lebanese nationality to their children.
