BEMO proud volunteer for CCCL
August 2018 – The Communication Department conducted a survey targeting all staff members, aiming at gathering information about community involvement and allowing staff to express their humanitarian interests. As a result, the Employee Volunteerism Program was launched with the first volunteering initiative in support of the Children Cancer Center Lebanon (CCCL).
This initiative was successfully completed thanks to Banque BEMO first group of Champions who attended the CCCL stand at Souk El Akel Broumana to help in the sales process (plants, coffee and water) for two days from 5:00 pm to 12:00 am, and contribute to increase the proceeds for treating the sick children. Moreover, the first day was marked by the surprise visit and participation of our Vice Chairman and General Manager which inspired the Bank’s Champions and CCCL team.
The volunteerism initiative is an important element of the Corporate Social Responsibility framework and further fosters Banque BEMO as a socially responsible business.
