Banque BEMO awarded by the Ministry of Environment

Banque BEMO took part in the “Award Ceremony for Institutions reporting their Greenhouse Gas Emissions” that was organized by the Ministry of Environment and the United Nations Development Program, under the patronage and the presence of H.E. Dr. Nasser Yassin and Mr. Mohammad Saleh.

This is a recognition of Banque BEMO efforts in computing and reporting its GHG emissions within the scope of the “Carbon Footprint Management” project completed in close collaboration with our consultants V4 Advisors, with a reduction of the Bank’s Carbon Footprint by 38.9% since 2017.

This project is in line with the Sustainable Development Goal 13 “Climate Action” that has been adopted by Banque BEMO as a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact, and a key step on the path to a sustainable positive impact on climate change.
