For the second year in a row and in its continuous support of Sports & Cultural Events, Banque Bemo sal sponsored the “2010 Lebanese Tennis Cup and Arab Championship Tournament” organized by Brummana Sports Club and hosted by Brummana High School from July 21st until August 8th, 2010.
More than 250 Lebanese & Arab players participated in The Lebanese Tennis Cup and the Arab Championship where the President of the Lebanese Republic – General Michel Sleiman – represented by Ms. Marlene el Haddad -

- presented the trophy to Mr. Sherif Sabri (Egypt) winner of the Arab Championship in the final game against his opponent Mr. Bassam Baidas (Lebanon) winner of the Lebanese Tennis Cup by 3-6, 6-2, 6-1.
Emir Karim Abillama – member of the Board of Directors of Banque Bemo sal and Mr. Joseph Raffoul – AGM Personal Banking & Financial Institutions presented the trophies to the Champions of the Lebanese Cup.
Banque Bemo Sal’s mini football team participated in the “Fairplay” Mini Football tournament which took place at the All-Sports Complex in Choueifat from July 6th until the 22nd, 2010.
Following its yearly tradition during the festive seasons, Banque Bemo sal reunited with its staff members and their families during the Children’s Christmas Party held in its newly opened Rabieh Branch where everyone celebrated the festivity in a joyful atmosphere animated by the kids’ favorite characters.

Banque Bemo - 15th Anniversary (October 2009)
Banque Bemo sal celebrated its 15th Anniversary at Le Royal Hotel – Dbayeh on the 17th of October 2009.
The Board of Directors of Banque Bemo sal, the Senior Management and the staff members of Banque Bemo sal and Bemo group, as well as a number of shareholders and friends were gathered for this event.
Mr. Samih Saadeh – General Manager of Banque Bemo sal thanked the Employees for their commitment and continuous efforts all through the years and insisted on the family spirit renowned at Banque Bemo sal and the values and rich history the OBEGI Group is well known for.
Mr. Henry Obegi, Chairman – General Manager, and Mr. Jean Hajjar, Board Member and Advisor to the Chairman were honored for their extensive and rewarding years of constant success.
Mr. Jean Hajjar thanked the Chairman of the Board and the Board Members for their trust all during the past 45 years since he started within the Obegi group.
Banque Bemo sal sponsored "Les Ateliers Culturels (2009 – 2010) du Centre Sportif, Culturel et Social" of Collège Notre Dame de Jamhour. The activities offered by the center focus on different topics covering arts, cinema, literature, painting
Under the initiative “Travailler au Liban” which was created four years ago by the “Association des Gestionnaires (ADG)” of the St Joseph University, Banque Bemo sal participated in the “Forum des Métiers IV” which was held at the University’s Campus (Huvelin) on April 28th and 29th. The primary objective of this event was to bring together professionals in the Lebanese market and graduates of the University. Following the Forum, a Gala dinner was held on April 29th for the participants of the Forum during which Mr. Bechara Obegi, among other prominent guests, was honored by the University.
